2 layer Silver Post Earrings

I dont really know what to call this shape....Each earring is essentially 1/4 of a sterling silver oval, and the two mirror each other. A textured silver circle is soldered to the upper portion of each 1/4 oval. Sterling ear posts and ear nuts. The earrings measure 1 1/4" long and 5/8" wide. Very light weight. (The purple spots on the second photo are reflections...photography isn't my strong suit ):
